Going out to see new places is called travailing. Different people travel for different purposes. People travel for knowledge and experience.
Travelling has many benefits. It is part of our education. Our education cannot be complete without travelling.
We read of many places in history . We read about mountains , seas , waterfalls etc in our geography . How interesting it is if we can see them with our own eyes . By travelling in different part of the world, we see new people abd things, we can learn much about their manners and customs. Thus we gain much knowledge and our mind become filled with new ideas. And we can introduce many good things in our country. The man who is always at home knows nothing of the world outside. His knowledge is limited within the four walls of his own home and his mind become narrow.
All great men were travellers. If they had not travelled they would not have left for us their accounts from which we would learn many things. Travellers like fahien and huen tsang visited india and left valuable accounts for us. Raja ram mohan ray and swami Vivekananda travelled in foreign countries and they made India known to the modern world. Buddhist monks and preachers spread the religion and civilization of ancient india to different countries . In recent time poet rabindranath treavelled in almost all parts of the world and become the poet of the world . Jawaharlal nehru abd the great scientists like Dr. C.V. Raman and Dr. Meghand saha have also travelled widely. They have carried the civilization of India to other countries and also brought for us many new ideas. Their accounts of travels open new horizon in our thought process and out education becomes worthy.
