My favourite national hero is nataji Subhash Chandra Bose. He is the glory of india. He is a symbol of struggle and sacrifice. He is a symbol of everything that makes a true and great Patriot. A true freedom fighter. He was born at cuttack in orissa on jan 23, 1897 . He was a brilliant student and stood fourth in the I.C.S examination. But he did not accept service under the British government. He declined the service which was the dream of every indian youth, instead, he came back to india and joined the struggle for freedom. He passed through untold suffering. He courted impresonment several times , when the second world war broke out , he was kept inlerned in his home in calcutta. From there he mysteriously disappeared in 1941. He went to Germany and from there to japan in a submarine. He build up the Indian national army or the Azad hind fouz and tried to wrest India's freedom from the British rules by use of force. But the defeat of japan turned the course of events. Even then his I.N.A hosted the tri-colour at morena. His war- cry 'delhi chala' rings in the ears of every patriotic indian.
